At first, taking a statue from a band of theives doesn't seem like much of a start to a series... Until it's found out that that statue may be a key to resurrecting the dark lord Shabranigdo, and suddenly everyone's after it. If this wasn't such a vapid show (let's face it... people DO tend to watch it more for the comedy than the plot) I would be jumping up and down on your face right now. What's the point of reviewing something for those who might be interested in trying something new, if you tell them the whole plot before they see it!! But that's not even the plot... It becomes something entirely different from what I mentioned. Still, you may have brought up a good point: There was a time when I was writing reviews and saying absolutely nothing about the plot because I didn't want to give it away (see Oh My Goddess, Battle Athletes Victory) and then people were telling me they had no idea what the show was about by the end of my review, so I went back over a lot of them to add plot details, but maybe I overcompensated by giving away too much of what the show was about? I'll have to take a look into this. Page 1 of 1 |
