Electrohome 3100/4100
Image quite stunning when hooked up to a line doubler.
Blacks very solid (though not as solid as my regular CRT TV), and whites bright through doubler.
Cooling fans fairly quiet.
Can be had for a bargain price as many companies are trading up to newer models.
Picked mine up for $1500 Canadian, with like-new tubes and new motherboard and ECP boards.
Some fairly extensive tuning was required by an Electrohome-approved techie (+$200), but now that's set up, the picture (line doubled) is almost movie theatre quality.
All replacement parts are good price as some companies have baskets of used boards etc.(except new tubes which run about $800 CDN each).

Overall _very_ happy with purchase, and rate it highly.

Got a question for anyone who can assist me please.
Have a Electrohome 3100/4100 series machine.
Has singnal through to the input on the rear - slot 0 -input 1.
BUT
No picture getting through and out the front.
It is workig fine as I am able to generate test signal and start tuning it all in on the screen.

I guess i have a fault in the middle somewhere.

MY PROBLEM:
I'm in New Zealand - the company is out of business and finding anone who who even feels comfortable about opennig it up is real hard.

With it being out of production etc - is there any place that would stock spares for it if any were found to be needed (once I find a brave techie to even find the fault).

Any useful replies would be greatly accepted.

Electrohome 3100/4100
Picture quality limited only by doubler and source. Able to resolve all lines on test patterns of Video Essentials, using IEV T1500 doubler.
