Got a question for anyone who can assist me please.
Have a Electrohome 3100/4100 series machine.
Has singnal through to the input on the rear - slot 0 -input 1.
BUT
No picture getting through and out the front.
It is workig fine as I am able to generate test signal and start tuning it all in on the screen.

I guess i have a fault in the middle somewhere.

MY PROBLEM:
I'm in New Zealand - the company is out of business and finding anone who who even feels comfortable about opennig it up is real hard.

With it being out of production etc - is there any place that would stock spares for it if any were found to be needed (once I find a brave techie to even find the fault).

Any useful replies would be greatly accepted.
Thanks
Bruce

I've just bought an ECP 3100 and had the same problem - a signal was coming through as I could hear the tubes fire up, and a sync was available for the set-up programme, but no picture.

I now get a picture coming through perfectly. The only difference is the order in which I power everything up. Essentially, the pj has to be up and running and in the right input BEFORE the dvd player is even powered up. Then the pj recognises the dvd player and accepts the input. This is such a simple solution that it might not be the answer to your problem but experiment with this, it just might work!

The other issue I found was I was trying the S video input on my input card - found online that this was discovered to have a fault on by the techies soon after the unit was released, and you can either self-fix with a bit of soldering (too much for me) or ignore the svhs and go either composite (worse quality) or RGBHV via a doubler or pc (I'm going to try the pc route.)

Hi,

I have recently purchased an electrohome 4100, it has the bnc connectors for input - I was wondering if an extra board can be obtained to enable a better connection?? svideo perhaps???

Cheers for any help in advance
