Pretty, decent plot, okay characters. What happened to Skuld? She was so cool in the OVA, but had hardly any personality in the movie. On the other hand, Urd was much improved. She actually showed she had a brain in her skull, and turned out to be quite an intelligent and powerful person! The movie was interesting, but the romance of Belldandy and Keichii made me feel very cynical. I assume the vast majority of people will be inspired, though. The animation was nice. There wasn't much of a plot. More of an excuse for nudity and magic towels than anything else. I don't recommend it to most people who think with their brains.

This is one of those series that just didn't do much for me, which puts me in an interesting conflict with my best friend. ^_^ The animation style is interesting, and quite pretty, though not everyone may like it. Utena is a neat character. I recommend this anime to people who like psychadellic anime. The characters are deep; but most are quite ruined, and horrible in their personalities. The comedy episodes are just stupid for the most part. I did LOVE the last few episodes. It's a pretty good series, but it just didn't click with me. This is the best of the Slayers movies in my opinion...which is kind of a sad statement to make. It is the only movie with a plot with any substance at all. It is worth seeing. It's the best of Lina and Naga's adventures. "Fireball." -Lina
