Subject: Failure By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.1.12) Date: 05/22/2004 12:17:50 pm PST Both of my Samsung DVD-P331 units have major failure today. No weather conditions would have caused this phenomenon. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Possible firmware bug? Subject: Will not play DVDs after 5 months! By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.171.36) Date: 06/28/2004 07:05:54 pm PST Our P331 just stopped playing DVD's, stilll plays Audio CD's, but keeps saying there is no disc in when we put in a DVD, takes forever to load, then says "no disc, or problem with disc" - with new movies, rented movies, and ones that worked last week. Here's hoping they honor the warranty! Subject: Samsung DVD failure By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.49.251) Date: 10/19/2004 09:57:35 am PST as reported above -- never loads, then says "no disc". Discovered overheated IC chip on board inside. Definitely a system flaw. Subject: DVD-P331 By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.95.81) Date: 01/07/2005 10:03:08 am PST Same problem here with this unit. Stopped reading DVD's but will load an audio CD. I hope this is not to common with this model. We have a half dozen of these on site with very little time on them. Hey Samsung, Step up to the plate and replace them if there's a defect in the DVD-P331 !
