Both of my Samsung DVD-P331 units have major failure today. No weather conditions would have caused this phenomenon. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Possible firmware bug?

Our P331 just stopped playing DVD's, stilll plays Audio CD's, but keeps saying there is no disc in when we put in a DVD, takes forever to load, then says "no disc, or problem with disc" - with new movies, rented movies, and ones that worked last week.

Here's hoping they honor the warranty!

as reported above -- never loads, then says "no disc". Discovered overheated IC chip on board inside. Definitely a system flaw.

Same problem here with this unit. Stopped reading DVD's but will load an audio CD. I hope this is not to common with this model. We have a half dozen of these on site with very little time on them. Hey Samsung, Step up to the plate and replace them if there's a defect in the DVD-P331 !
