Then Ayeka left Jurai to back because she was in love with Tenchi. They clearly made this couple possible in the OAV. But its different in Shin-Tenchi... AHH screw Shin-Tenchi!!! The point really is that this couple is a match made in heaven!!! This, of course fails to take into account the fact that Ayeka and Yohko were actually half-siblings (Yohko being Funaho's son I *think* and Ayeka and Sasami being Misaki's daughters) which would water down the degree of consanguinity even more. If you want *strange* consider the fact that before Ayeka transfered her affections to Tenchi she was supposed to be *Yohko's* Fiancee. Royal families did operate on that basis and it would seem that Jurai is no exception (And for *real strange* there's Sasami's relationship with Tsunami! ^_^;). BTW, given that polygamy is legal on Jurai the real question would have to be whether Ryoko, Sasami, Washu or Mihoshi would be the best Co-wife for Ayeka!
