So, according to the absolute purists who claim that the Bible is all to be taken literally etc., every Jewish person and every Christian person [even though some "Christians" claim that "Christianity has nothing to do with Judaism except that Jesus was Jewish" (I actually knew someone who said that, AND who also said how interesting/amazing it was that God had created the earth/universe/etc. in only six days.....which is, of course, an Old Testament tradition!!!)] must obey, literally, every one of numerous guidelines [some of which Jesus already considered outdated nearly two thousand years ago, hint, hint!!! ^_~].) (Is there a [logical/practical] reason why some people must give Christianity a bad name by going around behaving as though all Christians were as silly/ridiculous as THEY [apparently] are [or, at least, as some of their odd ideas are? ^_~]?) =^__~= "Darned if I know if the quotes are accurate, but it is an interesting perspective."
