I bought that TV back in 97.......LOVE IT!!! Nothing like it out there, very good quality build. That's my baby, a 250-300lb baby!!!

Awesome set, if a little expensive (retailed for over $3000) and heavy (275 pounds). This set was the only one of fabled 40" line which had component video inputs which makes a difference with DVD picture quality. I've had this TV for over 5 years and I still get compliments to this day.
