I can not belive the animation in this movie!!!! Its AWSOME!!!!
The story rules along with the gore and acting. This is the best
movie I have seen in my life!! They drew that Kageto chick the
best! The blind dude was awsome. Jubei was the coolest movie charecter in the world. This movie deserves more than 10.... it deserves a 99999999999999999999!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the best Japanimation movie I have seen. I if I was going to rate it one through ten, I would rate it twenty. I would like to see a sequel to this movie or a movie with the same type of setting.

This movie is definately worth wathing the whole way through.Some
people would just fast forward to the violence and nudie part.It
has a great story. I loved the eight devils of Kimone. The rock guy
and the guy with the chain that lurks in the shadows were my favorites
I gaurantee you'll love this movie. If you don't, there's something
wrong with you.

I finally saw this movie after hearing about it constantly over a period of around five art classes at school. I was amazed. An avid lover of Japanime and Manga, I felt this was one of the best I've ever seen.

Good animation, great action, but that's pretty much it. It's entertaining, but there are much better animes around. Not much to think about, and a very unoriginal plot keeps this from setting itself apart.

ter.All the character rocks.Too bad they took out someof the nude
seen out of the English version.The story line rocks.That is the
only sensible answer.Isn`t it!The setting in the time of samurais

Jubei has to be the best classic Robert DeNiro loner character. Tesia (the rock guy) is one of the better anime villans, too bad he dies so soon.Udumaru (the line guy) gets a "sinister villan" award. The opening ambush on the bridge took me completely by surprise. Excellent Gemma scenes , where the mystery is hidden about who exactly Jubei is and what his past entails. Best final battle in any movie, ever. Gemma using only his bare hands and Jubei attacking with a smauri sword on a burning , sinking ship , that crashes down all around them. I can't say enuf about this kick-ass movie. Cool story , great animation. There.
