Fist of the North star
This movie will probably be a classic. I have never seen anything
like this. This movie has a fantastic story along with great
animation. It's a wonderful depiction of what life could be
like in the future. It looks like it's set in the middle ages
but it's the future. All technologies have been abolished.Only the
strongest survive. I also loved the pulse pounding battle scenes

This story seemed like an excuse for violence. Several completely unexplaned and gruesome killings having little or nothing to do with the plot seemed rather distracting. The setting seemed somewhat believable, and the animation was decent, but on the whole, I would not recommend this title.

Good story, and really depressing at times. Lots of cool action sequences, but the fact that this is a 110 minute movie trying to tell a story that was originally shown in two seasons worth of TV episodes really hurts. Kinda rushed, but excellent music and an all-around entertaining movie.

The living legend of all japanimation flics to the present date. This one will make you kick your mother in the teeth! One of the best fucking pictures ever made.

The manga series is HUGE and contains quite a bit of insight into the character's pasts and motivations and although character development is minimal at best, character interactions develope greatly during the series. All this however gets left out when you try to stuff everything into a 2-hour movie.

I still love this movie and consider it a beloved and readily identifiable anime classic (now if only I can get a subtitled copy and the t.v. series as well).

I enjoy it very much. The martial art powers are cool and this anime is worthy of kicking Sailor moons ass!! The reason why it's a nine because I found it too predictable

I think this is absolutely fabulous. The animation is great. The characters are capable of showing happiness, grief, etc... Besides, the background music is really good.

WE BLEW UP THE WORLD FOR THIS????

First off that kid was obviously Penny from Inspector Gadget

Second of all, I got freiked out by that chick with no nipplels

Third, the violence seemed to be the only thing keeping the plot going (cool violece, though)
And finally, the ending seemed wussie and illogical. "Guess what, the main charachter is a loser, and now you have to return the vidieo to the rental joint in the rain."

Well, there isn't that much plot but there's some nice music. This is one of those movies that makes you laugh when it's not trying like when that white haired guy tears offthat guy's arms and says "Do these belong to you?" It's really corny so there is a ton of laughs but it's hard to take this movie seriously. By the way what happened to teh white haired guy's sister, where'd she go?

Bwahahahaha!! ^_^ Whenever I shoved this into the mouth of my VCR, I just couldn't stop laughing. The so-called plot actually had potential, but it was all ruined by a bunch of barbaric characters that I couldn't care less for, crude design, and one of the worst dubbing jobs in existence. Tremble in fear as an overgrown half-wit exclaims, "First you suffer, then you die. Nice and slow!" Or how about, "But then we wouldn't fight and you know we're destined to do THAT!" And, let's not forget all of the pointless splatter violence. Five minutes can't pass without someone having their head explode or intestines fly out of their stomach. Also, don't expect much of a coherent ending. What the hell was going on, anyway?!?

Piece of shit anime, worse than Lily C.A.T. The animation sucked, It had blood in it every 2 minutes, and the heads exploding got really old really fast. Stay away from it, it's cursed, makes you feel like shit after watching it.

This movie is definitly for testasterone driven males. If you want to see a movie with good character development, a good plot, and love story don't watch this. If you like watching people die and have thier heads explode you'll love this. It all depends on the type of person you are. This is the bloodiest film I have ever seen.
