Very different. The animation is excellent for a tv series and
is very enjoyable. I like this a lot.

I feel that "Vision of Escaflowne" is an excellent animated series. It has a beautiful story which evoked a wide range of emotions while I watched it. The story is also complimented by excellent animation.

Watching this reminded me of El Hazard, without all the humor. I can't believe that this was a TV series and not an OAV, because the artwork is incredible! The story is very engrossing, adorned with a great cast, and wonderful atmosphere. However, notice the wind is always blowing, especially during those dramatic scenes. I thought the series ran a little too long as well, but if there were fewer episodes, I would only wish for more. Excellent series!

The animation was fantastic!!! However the storyline was exciting as well as beautiful. It makes you fall in love with all the characters, it also has many twists in the plot that make it very exciting!! The best anime I have seen yet. It is very inspiring.

This is my favorite anime of all time. I cried at the end.
I love the characters, and all of the bizzare little plot twists.
Even the villians have depth.

hey, I never even saw the series at all!
but I have been listening to a lot of the music and looking up a lot of info on it, so far, from the way I forsee it, I think it's an ass kicking piece of diamond, the music says it all!

I Think animation is great, there isn't any nudity or anything worse, the people who did this cartoon knew what kind of music went with each situation, it's just great! I think it's one of the greatest anime ever. At first I was thrown off by the big noses, but I got used to it. It's the best, no matter what anyone says!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why did I give it a 10??? Because it damn well deserves it!!! This is the best damn anime ever!!! I love Sailor Moon, Tenchi Muyo!, Fushigi Yuugi, Kodomo No Omocha and Mahou Tsukai Tai!, but this one I love more. Much more. The story is deep, it sucks you into it's spell as it weaves itself. The characters are beleivable, even Merle!!! Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's dead seroious, sometimes it's heartwrenching, and sometimes it's romantic. It's everything. The perfect anime. I doubt we'll see another like it in our lifetimes. Neon Genesis Evangelion pales in Escaflowne's shadow. The music is also something to love. It's perfect!!! From the chants to the theme song, it's perfect!!! Heaven sent!!! The animation is BETTER than any OAV or TV series. The voice actors are perfect for each character they do. It trully is a masterpiece. What else can I say? And for me, the villans are more eye catching than the heroes. Sure Van caught my eye, so did Allen. But when I saw Folken and what he had been through, I felt more sorry for him than when Van lost Fanelia. And then I saw Dilandau. He made me swoon. *^_^* He is the most PERFECT and most HUNKY villan in all anime!!! He is!!!! He is probably the character in the whole series that receives more attention from an audience, at least in MY point of view. Who wouldn't pay attention to him? He is the only person in all the series who has suffered the most, even MORE than Folken. Imagine if you will, someone snatching you from your family, giving you a sex change and doing all sorts of experiments on you for destiny's sake. Hmm? Not being loved by anybody because your an insane psychopath. A pyromaniac. A loaner. Hmm??? How do you feel towards him now??? Oh great, now how did this letter become Dilandau based??? *^_^*() Gomenasai Minna-San!!! =p Oh well. I hope you understand. As you can see, i'm obsessed with the series. If I could have the videos, i'd die of happiness!!! Sigh...Well, that's my letter!!! CHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
