In that case you might like to try honey and lemon juice heated together in equal parts. Another thing to do might be to alternate Coke and ice cream (Use one with a high fat content like Dove or Haggan Daaz). Idea in the 2nd case is to clear your throat and then soothe it.(I'm assuming here that the cough may be a prelude to a sore throat). I'll try to think of other things for your cough tomorrow. One thing you should do is just sleep a lot. That helps the body to recover.

Two jokes for people. Laughter is a great medicine.

Father O'Malley rose from his bed. It was a fine spring day in his new
Texas mission parish. He walked to the window of his bedroom to get a
deep breath of the beautiful day outside.
He then noticed there was a jackass lying dead in the middle of his
front lawn.
He promptly called the local police station.
The conversation went like this:
"Good morning. This is Sergeant Jones. How might I help you?"
"And the best of the day te yerself. This is Father O'Malley at St.
Brigid's. There's a jackass lying dead in me front lawn. Would ye be so
kind as to send a couple o' yer lads to take care of the matter?"
Sergeant Jones, considering himself to be quite a wit, replied with a
smirk, "Well now father, it was always my impression that you people
took care of last rites!"
There was dead silence on the line for a long moment.
Father O'Malley then replied: "Aye, tis certainly true, but we are also
obliged to notify the next of kin."

A man walks into a restaurant with a full-grown ostrich behind him.

The waitress asks for their orders. The man says, "A hamburger, fries
and a coke," and turns to the ostrich, "What's yours?"

"I'll have the same," says the ostrich.

A short time later the waitress returns with the order." That will be
$9.40 please," she says and the man reaches into his pocket and pulls
out the exact change for payment.

The next day, the man and the ostrich come again and the man says, "A
hamburger, fries, and a coke."

The ostrich says, "I'll have the same."

Again the man reaches into his pocket and pays with exact change. This
becomes routine until the two enter again later in the week.

"The usual?" asks the waitress.

"No, this is Friday night, so I will have a steak, baked potato, and
salad," says the man.

"Same," says the ostrich.

Shortly the waitress brings the order and says, "That will be $32.62."

Once again the man pulls the exact change out of his pocket and places
it on the table.

The waitress can't hold back her curiosity any longer."Excuse me,sir.
How do you manage to always come up with the exact change out of your
pocket every time?"

"Well," says the man, "several years ago I was cleaning the attic and
found an old lamp. When I rubbed it a Genie appeared and offered me two
wishes. My first wish was that if I ever had to pay for anything, I
would just put my hand in my pocket and the right amount of money would
always be there."

"That's brilliant!" says the waitress. "Most people would wish for a
million dollars or something, but you'll always be as rich as you want
for as long as you live!"

"That's right. Whether it's a gallon of milk or a Rolls Royce, the exact
money is always there," says the man.

The waitress asks, "But, sir, what's with the ostrich?"

The man sighs, pauses, and answers, "My second wish was for a tall chick
with a big ass and long legs who agrees with everything I say."

Today my ears were really clogged up, due to my cold. In addition to this, the place where I traveled today was at a higher altitude than where I normally live, so in addition to having a stuffy head, my ears felt like they wanted to pop to release the pressure, yet could not because of my cold, resulting in this _wonderful_ (Note the sarcasim.) feeling that my head was going to explode.

In addition to this, and my clogged sinuses (And caughing, and dizziness, and everything else...) my ear trouble gave me this unique hearing problem that I can only describe as a reverse echo; everything I heard or that was said to me would seem to be cut off at the very end for some reason.

Later, through some kind of miracle that to me sounded like the kind of sound you would expect an ant to make, while pulling a plie of sand from your ear, I was able to get rid of this clogged pressure problem. And not even an hour later I went back down to "normal" altitue level, and had to go through the same thing all over again.

Okay, dispite how this may all sound, I do feel a lot better today than I did a couple days ago, so I must be getting better. Hopefully by tomorrow I will be able to breath out without going into a coughing fit for several minutes.

Anyway, goodnight.

It sounds like you had barrels of laughter, (More sarcasm)
I'm glad your getting better and for the rest of the stuffiness, try pinch the bridge of your nose, up and down fromthe eye brows to where it starts to get big and then use your fingers to tap all around there your cheeks and forehead. That is called tapotement and that is good for clearning sinuses.

I actually have a little story about the "chicken" jokes: about a week ago I was driving to work, when I had to stop my car, because a large black-colored hen was crossing the road in front of me. It immidiately quickened its pace to get out of the way of my immobile vehicle, as I watched in 6:08am dazed amazement.

So why did the chicken cross the road? To get out of my way, apparently.

At least he knew to get out of the way.

It's gonna be a LONG day for me. I have to be at school early today, for the rest of the CPR class, which is 4 hours long and that's the second half of it. Then I have my 4 hour keniesioloy class which were having compency test today.
There are 8 different muscles and they pick two you have to palpate and tell where the origin and insertion is. I've been studying but I'm still nervous about it. I hope I get massiter or temporalis, both easy ones. The scalenes would be ok, it's harder since there is three of them together but at least I know it well enough.

Hi everyone ^_^ I finally found a chance to post around here. Our guests have gotten home safely and we're all
getting back to a normal rhythm of life again.

I got to go sailing on the Atlantic and
tour a Navy aircraft carrier. Pretty awesome stuff. We got to watch them do some of their daily routines and such.
I got to see a pair of helicopters take off and zoom around (man, they kick up alot of wind, just like in the movies...). The Atlantic was a thing of shimmering
beauty and we had perfect weather the
whole day (I didn't even get seasick :).

We did and we had a lot of fun and got many cherries to eat yuuuuum.
We also bought many other things and had lunch at Artic circle, which is one place we don't have around us any more, so it was nice to get a change of pace.
