Today I had to help my department prepare for MOPAR, which is tomorrow. MOPAR is where people from the head office come down to our store, and criticize every little fault in our area. Many people wonder just what MOPAR stands for; the people who actually work at Fry’s for example. It is supposed to be this important bunch of technical terms, that we are all supposed to know, but for the love of me I can not seem to recall them, ever (Of course, neither can most of my coworkers, so I am not alone on this.).

Here are a couple of examples I and other people have given as answers, when we were asked what MOPAR means, during MOPAR:

We are no longer asked what MOPAR means, during MOPAR.

I take comfort in knowing that no matter how badly we are scored in my department, we are nowhere near as bad off as the Computer Components department. Why? Because as of today, their LAST TWO supervisors quit. They do not currently have a department manager (He transferred to another store.), and their LAST TWO supervisors quit. There is now no one in an official leadership position in that department.
When the MOPAR people arrive, and find that there are no supervisors, I wonder who they are going to hold responsible? The people at fault for this situation are gone. The associates working in Components will be too busy trying to take care of things, to bother with it. What are the MOPAR people going to do, re-hire and then fire the supervisors?

YEAAAAAAAA I can get on and tell the great news. Our doggie Lea had two puppies this morning, mom and pups are doing great, they are so so cute, when I have the pictures on the ocmputer I'll post them.
