Bless me Father, for I have sinned. I have been with a loose woman.

The priest asks, "Is that you, little Timmy Shaughnessy?

Yes, Father, it is.

And, who was the woman you were with?

I can't be tellin' you, Father. I don't want to ruin her reputation.

Well, Timmy, I'm sure to find out sooner or later, so you may as well
tell me now.
Was it Brenda O'Malley?

I cannot say.

Was it Patricia Kelly?

I'll never tell.

Was it Sheilah O'Brien?

I'm sorry, but I cannot name her.

Was it Kathleen Morgan?

My lips are sealed.

Was it Fiona Grogan, then?

Please, Father, I cannot tell you.

The priest sighs in frustration. You're a steadfast lad, Timmy
Shaughnessy, and I admire that. But you've sinned, and you must atone.
You cannot attend church mass for three months. Be off with you now.

Timmy walks back to his pew.

His friend Sean slides over and whispers, What'd you get?

Three month's vacation and five good leads.............

Gacha Gacha by Hiroyuki Tamakoshi (author of "Boys Be") is a romantic comedy with an interesting premise. Kurara, very much the archetypical "Girl Next Door", approachs her friend Kouhei, who is secretly attracted to her with a problem: Something's happened to her during her vacation in Hawaii and now she gets in erotic moods where she isn't her normal self and could he keep her from doing anything irrevocable when this happens so that people don't find out?

Our hero agrees. But it's only with the passage of time that he learns that Kurara was too embarassed to tell him the whole story. When he tries to tell her he loves her and ends up saying it to someone else in her body that he learns she now has multiple personalities.

The reason for this is revealed in book 2 when we learn an accident with an experimental VR simulation downloaded the personality files of the entire cast of a RPG into her brain - Picture what things would be like if the entire cast of Final Fantasy were downloaded in your head and liable to come out at any moment and you have the idea. (Although based on what I've seen of the first 3 alternate personalities the simulation in question seems to have been a dating game). Kohei is in for a wilder time then he knew but making friends with each and every one of Kurara's alternate personalities seems to be a challange that he's willing to undertake.

If you like screwball comedy and hapless heroes trying to deal with awkward situations as gracefully as possible then this might be your cup of tea. ^_~

You are Yuki Sohma! You are not very
sociable and it's hard for you to get along
with big crowds so you are considered a loner.
Although it's tough, you really want to be able
to be at ease when talking to everyone. Some
good qualities about you is that your athletic,
smart, and kind. His juunishi form is the rat.
The rat is considered special in the Sohma
family, that's why Kyo envys you. You can
sometimes be a perfectionist and hot-tempered,
but you're also generous and honest. Beware of
the horse and best with the dragon.

I can identify with the 'writer' article. I've
had those days man. There are just
certain conditions under which my inner
narrator WILL NOT MAKE WITH THE ART ;P

References tend to be excellent writer's
block bane. Be sure to keep some nearby
when writing or drawing (or anything
creative really...). A little research for
whatever you're working on will help
immensely. Take notes whenever you
think of something good and add that
to your pile too. It's all good ammo
against teh 3vil that is writer's block.

That's certainly a lot better than the one I use which is to try to start a new project or change to an already existing one in the hopes that inspiration will return by the time I run out of steam on the one I've switched to. Sometimes it works but you'd be surprised at the number of unfinished projects I currently have. ^_^;

Under the category of "Things That Make Sense but are Still Weird":

1. Be it noted that Nestle Crunch is my favorite candy at this writing and always in the top 3 at any given time. ^_^

2. Be it noted that it does make sense to me that Nestle or any other candy company would want to make it's candies in the shape of hearts for Valentine's Day. >_>
That said...

A candy labeled "Crunch Hearts" still sounds pretty scary to *me*! ^_^;

Under the same category,...

While I can appreciate a vendor's desire to advertise lower clothing prices combined with the need for brevity on the ads and signs that are used to publicise them, I still have to admit that phrases like "75% off all women's clothing" does inspire me towards hentai speculations as to which 75% of the clothing has been removed. ^_~

Try this in Mexico. If you are ready for the adventure of a lifetime:

Enter Mexico illegally. Never mind immigration quotas, visas,
international law, or any of that nonsense.

Once there, demand that the local government provide free medical care
for you and your entire family.

Demand bilingual nurses and doctors.

Demand free bilingual local government forms, bulletins, etc. Procreate
abundantly. Deflect any criticism of this allegedly irresponsible
reproductive behaviour with, "It is a cultural thing. You would not
understand."

Keep your American identity strong. Fly Old Glory from your rooftop, or
proudly display it in your front window or on your car bumper.

Speak only English at home and in public and insist that your children
do likewise.

Demand classes on American culture in the Mexican school system.

Demand a local Mexican driver license. This will afford other legal
rights and will go far to legitimise your unauthorized, illegal presence
in Mexico.

Drive around with no liability insurance and ignore local traffic laws.

Insist that local Mexican law enforcement teach English to all its
officers.

Good luck!
