This was a very touching series, and is very addictive. I could watchi this over and over again. Although it isn't very deep, this romantic comedy anime is something I would love to add to my collection. The artwork is beautiful and the animation is above average. This is one of my favourites.

Ah! Megami-sama is a really good anime that everyone WILL like. I don't think that ANYONE could claim to dislike it! My favorite thing about the show is Belldandy's voice actress, Inoue Kikuko, who does MANY of my favorite characters, such as Anju Kitahara (MY FAVORITE!!! From Marmalade Boy), Mimori Seira (Saint Tail), Kasumi, Corvette (Idol Project), Stashia (Megami Paradise), Sakura Saginomiya (801 TTS Airbats), Lune Venus (El Hazard), and MANY more! Inoue Kikuko rules!!!!

I LOVE THIS TOO MUCH... I just got a poster for my room. but it's not too big.

the characters= interesting and funny characters
ART= very stylish and inspired
animation=very nice!!
plot=not too deep but if this was deep then it's stupid


Belldandy, Skuld, Urd, and Keichi. Also starring Megumi, and all the other cool characters. But I still think keichi is a whimp, and It was very funny when he was about to drown... he looked like a total weakling !!

This is funny stuff!!!

I went back and rewatch this whole thing again and it was awesome.
I epecially liked belldandy, the music and special effect.
if she a goddess she suppose to be perfect right
but she still make quite a few mistake
and you know goddesses dont exist they are just imaginary in
the human's mind. or in an image of a man called GOD
you believe god?

Very good animation quality and characters. I really liked Belldandy. This gets the new "Sakura Saginomiya seal of approval" I just made up. The fifth oav is really touching! SEE THIS! And see 801 TTS too (just for Saginomiya!!!)

An EXTREMELY sweet OAV series. Despite its overly happy nature, I could not help but like this anime. The characters are adorable and captivating, and the story is actually quite interesting. It is a cute and sweet anime that few should miss.

Goodness, what a great story. I realized that I was up on my toes during the entire 4th and 5th episodes, and now my muscles are all tense. Gave me lots of heartache as I was watching this one, maybe because I can identify with Keiichi SO well. I didn't cry because it wasn't that touching, but certainly I was aching in my heart while watching Keiichi and Belldandy trying to reach each other's fingertips... And I LOVE the opening and ending themes.

The only minus: the plot doesn't really flow evenly and naturally going from ep. 2-3-4.

Oh well, I'll be generous and give 9.

even though i'm a guy.. i really liked this little serie..
mayb coz the characters were so lovable.. hee hee..
the music was ok, and the animation was supurb..
though.. it's a shame that it ended so quickly..
the manga is still going, and it would be great to see more eps.
(and the stories were slightly different too)

God I loved it! Belldandy, Urd, skuld, and Megumi are hot! God I'm such a pervert! Anyway the sempai (the tall tanned dude ) rocks! His expression on his face is hilarious when he finds Belldandy in the men's dorm. This series needs one more thing. MORE SEQUELS! IT KICKS ASS! A little depressing at the end but still cool.

The art is really, really beautiful ! So neat and.. well.. beautiful ! Belldandy, Urd, Skuld, Megumi, Sayoko is all so gorgeous ! The plot is waaay romantic, sad , suspenseful and it really touches your heart... (?) and comedy appearences by.. Skuld and Yggdrasil !!! C'mon.. make some more of this well plot series !!

Awesome awesome awesome! This is hands down the best OAV series I've seen yet! Best thing about it -- no annoying mechas or lasers! I almost wanted to give it an 8 or 9 because of intrusive music and lack of character development, but let's face it -- Episodes 4 and 5 elevate it to a 10! Belldandy is too weepy and whiny at the start, but gets less melodramatic towards the final eps. I wish they had stayed closer to the manga in terms of character personalities, but why should I complain? This is Ah My Goddess -- the greatest anime love story ever written! (With apologies to Kimagure Orange Road.) Required viewing for any true anime fan.
