Though pokemon had the show out first Digimon had over 5 version of the virtual
pet/fighters out and comics. So go take your pokeball and shove it. I do like pokemon a bit but digimon is alot more cooler and actually has a plot and good

Digimon RULES!!!! It is a LOT better then watching Pokemon, with Team Rocket and that dam cat gettting kicked into the sky and landing perfectly ok 20 miles away!! Reasons Digimon is better:

1.) It has a Plot! For all the Poke-a-geeks, that is P-L-O-T, look up what it
means.
2.) The Digimon can form complete sentances, unlike saying their name over and over.
3.) Animation and coloring are WWWAAAAYYYY better!!!
4.) Digimon gets you involved with the characters, caring what happens next, working up suspense, etc., which is a sign of a great show.
5.) Actual lessons are learned from Digimon, about friendship, being sincere over your own selfish needs, etc.
6.) Shows people of all ages what they could "digivolve" to, by using friendship, courage, etc.,
7.) As someone stated above, the kids fight only because they have to on Digimon, not to win a "title" like on Pokemon.
8.) As many people stated, any other toys are cooler to look at then walking in and seeing Pokemon all over the dam place... it's rediculious when you can't even go to the grocery store without seeing them on display!!
9.) No matter what show came first, Pokemon and Digimon do NOT copy each other as the stories are totally different. They both have creatures which "evolve." So does this mean that the old Dracula movie is the same as "Bram Strokers Dracula?" I think not!!
10.) All the characters on Digimon are so much better, with different changes in their moods, etc. Not just screaming and crying (with those dam stupid faces) like Misty, etc. on Pokemon.
11.) I work at a comicbook show, and help out w/ the pokemon stuff, and even after all this time, I do not know even 5% of the different characters names, unlike I know Digimon. Just because Pokemon has 150+ different creatures and Digimon has so few, does not make Pokemon better!! I will take quailty over volume any day!!

There are more reasons, but I've made this long enough. Now I suppose all the "Pokey lovers" will call me all sort of "intelligent" names with "colorful" words like I've seen above. That just shows you know Digimon is better... and hope to sway people to your side with "name calling" instead of addressing the subject with facts. Yell all you want, use all the foul language you want, but you cannot change the fact: Pokemon is fading... all hail Digimon!!!!!!!

You pokemaniacs are crazzy if you think digimon is worse than pokemon. First of all Pokemon is a cheap copy of digimon and monster rancher Digimon came out in 1991 in Japan, and Pokemon in 1995. Pokemon's animation sucks half the time a backdrop is in the screen and the people just do the same thing repeatly and the voices makes the illusion that there actually moving. And the story is just gay Ash katchum just walks around catching pokemon and getting badges to compete in this Pokelymipcs or something at least in Digimon it's a great story and more unsual monsters SO THERE =). NO! So why do Pokemon and Digimon have to argue. Even though I like
pokemon a lot better you can't ignore the stick figure falling down thing
While on the other hand Digimon has phrases like. Birdreymon wanted
to save us because he wanted to save me. They are equally good both
with problems in their cartoons. They both come from Japan. The
only difference is that one is in your pocket and one is digital.
So what if Digimon takes over. Learn to adapt. I was so depressed when
I saw that I couldn't watch Power Rangers anymore. Same thing
happened with Pokemon. I have learned to take what I get. I think
it's time you guys learn it too. I don't actully think Digimon and
Pokemon are enemies. Something in the back of my head tells me
the director or creator happen to know each other. I don't care
if you want to differ, I sujest that this pokemon site be closed
down.

I like the plot for Digimon much better than Pokemon's. Pokemon's is just a bunch of separate stories sometimes. Digimon's is usually one large one. It's kind of like the Matrix in ways, because of the two worlds. But I don't know if the Digiworld is real or not.

Pokemon any day! You know what my favorite thing to do is? Burn Pokemon cards!
I keep all the ashes in jars and sell them to other Pokemon hateing friends!
We go out and buy a bunch of Pokemon cards, books, ect. go home invite our
Digimon loveing friends over and celebrate the burning of Pokemon cards. Me being the leader of the "Die! Pokemon, Die! Digimon Rule!" club get a real kick when some one grages their Pokemon loveing little sister or brother over to a "Pokemon Burning Party." We explain our cause to them and sometimes convirt them to our cause. Watch out! We might be in your hometown! Remember that we never resourt to vilonce though. We just dont like Pokemon.
