-IF- you enjoy watching three poorly doodled children doing the same thing every single episode. i.e. look for a badge, win a badge, kick team rocket's ass by some fluke... then Pokemon is the anime for you. -IF- you are adverse to PLOT, CHARECTER DEVELOPMENT, or even half assed animation then maybe you won't like Digimon. I myself enjoy it very much. There is no queston that there are many better but it wins of Pokemon hands down.

LISTEN UP GUYS! Digimon, is NOT A RIPOFF OF POKEMON. WAIT! LET ME EXPLAIN WHY... Digimon's storyline is a lot different than Pokemon. First thing, the kids don't collect more of them, and they don't fight just for fun. If you think about it, parents who consider Pokemon as "cute", "harmless", and "non-violent" are completely insane! What other show encourages fighting for fun? The kids fight because they want to get home in one peice, which is, if you ask me, something far more interesting than getting the title of "Pokemon Master". Second, Pokemon has no plot. (Oh no! The two wimps on Team Rocket are trying to steal my Pikachu, yet they never DO ANYTHING!) The anime on Digimon surpasses Pokemon by far, whereas in Pokemon the storywriters don't even bother to try to match up the mouths with the words! Digimon also has more character development and mystery, with some actual suspense. The episodes on Pokemon are basically pointless, and are viewed only for entertainment or to pass the time. I'm not saying that Pokemon is bad, but if you Poke-freaks try to diss Digimon, then it's time we Anime-fans fought back!

Digimon and Pokémon are the same, but I would choose Pokemon. Pokemon came first before Digimon, so there.

Ash is better than Tai! I do like Tai, but he's more dumb-headed than Ash.

Pokemon has a good storyline, but Digimon has good monsters and attacks.

God, do I ever hate this show. Its a really bad rip-off of Pokemon except the mosters are hideous creatures with bad dental work. This series has everything that defines bad. Horrible character designs (Both humans and Digimon), a pathetic theme song,bad dialouge stuffed with horrible puns and jokes, stupid characters, and really bad dubbing. Avoid this piece of donkey feces like the plauge.

I LOVE POKEMON A LOT! .. but I also like Digimon, but not as much. The animation, movement, and designs are great. ^_^; Pokemon beats Digimon in humor, voice acting, music... Digimon beats Pokemon in animation, storyline, movement.. Neither of them are rip-offs! .. shall we stop comparing Digimon and Pokemon now?
