I like this show - it roQs! It has better animation than Pokemon and the theme
music is kinda catchy :-) The show runs at a faster pace, and there's not as
much messing around like in Pokemon - and it's Pikachu free :-) Ditigal is the
way of the future, Pokemon is the way of the past... Digimon roQs!

I love Digimon. Sure, the animation may be lousy, the dubbing is terrible, and Mimi is *OBNOXIOUS,* but it has great storylines and plots. I love the monsters, especially Whamon, Puppetmon, Agumon, and Elekmon. My all time favorite is Gabumon and all of his stages. The characters are well developed, and I agree with some that it is better having the monsters talk instead of repeating their names over and over. I am not a big fan of Pokemon. The animation is even worse and the color is bland, plus the characters are kind of annoying. I really don't like it, it is no fun to watch, and for all you who think Digimon is a rip-off, did you know that it was scheduled to be put on the air before Pokemon? Pokemon was supposed to come after it, and then Monster Rancher was to be aired. It is a 'kid' show and sometimes pretty 'kiddish' but I still love to watch it. Also: People who write letters with numerous swear words and who are cussing out others instead of writing about the show, I am sorry but it makes you look *really* un-intelligent. Same goes with TYPING IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS LIKE I AM DOING NOW. This needs to be about the show and not about showing others how many swear words you know...well, I suppose that may be the only thing you know how to do, but just try to write an intelligent letter once in a while? Thank you, it will make me a little less curmudgeon-ly in my old age if I know there are still some brains in the world.

I am tiers of Digimon. I watched it at first and it was.... ok but now I hate it. The dubbing is about the worst in any anime, The characters are well *thinks for a word to use* shallow. the character development is also horrible. Now now all you digifanatics I am not a pokefreak I absoulutly resent Pokemon so please dont call me one just because I dont like Digimon :). The new shows in Digimon dont have a god storyline at all. I think names like puppetmon almost amount to the stupidity of a Pokemon name like Pikachu. Digimons new shows do prove how lame the show really is I just saw a commercial for the new *he says sarcasticly* shows and I am not even going to boter getting started on that. All you digifanatics please dont call me names and insult me lets try to keep this a clean message board please. Did I cuss and swear about your pathetic Digimon show?

First a few things to clear up. Digimon is NOT an American cartoon, it's actually Japanese. Also, Digimon came BEFORE Pokemon. If you ask how I know, I simply looked through Toei's japanese site. Now to explain my rating. If you count out your Pokebias (that was *satire*, for those who don't know) and actually rate Digimon in itself, you'll find it's actually pretty good. The storyline is not a constantly happy storyline - currently the eight heroes are fighting against nearly omnipotent Dark Masters, who have taken over the Digiworld. Additionally, there are multiple stages of strength (not just one more like Pokemon) and the animation is good for an anime. Plus it's not over hyped. So if you are one of those sightless Digimon Bashers, I have one small piece of advice for you. The only way for you to see Digimon as what it is is if you take your head out of your @$$ long enough. Kapeesh?

I LOVE digimon! I only gave it a 9 because Pokemon is better. This is a Great show. I love it because the Digimon usually digivolve to their highest form to battle. In Pokémon, they only evolve once, and that's it. Or it would be, like, a caterpie vs. mangnamite.
