Heroic Legend of Arislan, The
Aesthetically pleasing, and remains as one of my most favoured anime. It's sad that it might not be finished (or at least chronicled in more detail) as an anime, though.

Heroic Legend of Arislan, The
Brilliant piece of artwork. The story is great, the characters are
believeable. Does not contain too much violence, and has no
"adult"- scenes. It's a different type of Anime, not of the
typical "battle and blood" or "sopaish" kind.
The series MUST be kept up. It's a damned shame if it isn't
finished.

It's wonderful, the scenery and artwork are breathtakingly beautiful and full of life! The characters are skillfully created with a wide range of appeal both aesthetically and emotionally. The plot is both classical and new wave in its dealing of the situations. A must see for anyone with any sense.

Herioc Legend of arslin I think is the best anime I have ever seen . The story line is ever good . The charaters fit it very well. But I wish they will finsh the end of the moive.

The animation is beautiful and the characters are very convincing and sometimes funny. Some one is always making an eloquent speech or profound statement of some sort ( usually Narsus) The translation is very good and the story is interesting, although somewhat confusing in a very few minor places. I wish they would release parts 5 and 6.

US Manga Corps better finish this series! It's absolutely awesome! Excellent characters, great story, and one heck of an intricate and detailed plot. Bring the rest to the US already!

I have never seen a larger (and cooler) cast of characters than the one in "Arislan". The high drama, epic settings and the bishojo style makes this series a feast for the eyes! I also love the series' treatment of the hypocrisy of religion and the mindset of the nobility.

Where's the damn end to this series!?!?

Heroic Legend of Arislan, The
Second anime video I have watched. After hearing about how most stories are lame in their translation I was surprised how much I liked this movie. It was like I wasn't even watching a cartoon but a real motion picture. The story Line was excellent, I would put it up with some of the best Fantasy novels I have read, like the Rift War Saga, or The Wheel of Time Series. The characters were excellent, Daryoons loyalty and honor towards Arislan. How Daryoon helps Arislan through some uncertainty after Bachman was killed. Narcus and his intelligence, the way he used the twister to stop Hermes from chasing him was humerous. I've only rented and watched part 1 and 2 but if I can find it anywhere I would buy the whole series.

There's some lovely artwork here, with some of the most beautiful anime
men I've ever seen (I've got dibs on Narsus and Daryoon!), but the plot
drags a bit, and the political intrigue is a bit convoluted. Nonetheless, I'm
still eager to find out what will become of poor Arislan in the end.

This was one of the best fantasy anime I've ever watched! Beautiful animation, wonderful, heavenly music! All the characters were really cool, too! (My favorite was Daryoon.) The story line is neat - Arislan's gotta get back a whole kindom! This was a mostly serious movie, but funny characters like Elam and Arfurido give it some bounce. In all, this was a truly great movie for me to have experienced, and I hope other people enjoyed it too.

I've never seen Arislan, but what the hell! Let's give it a high rating! I like anime based around the fantasy genre. I grow tired of the preponderance of high-tech stuff. Don't they ever get tired of it? Are the Japanese a nation of technophiles? (I personally think so, but I'm not about to mention it to my Japanese Language teacher).
Aside from this, I cannot comment on the storyline, animation, etc., as I have yet to see it.

Heroic Legend of Arislan, The
I think this is one of the best things I've seen from a TV set or in movie theathers. Great story with beautiful animation. The characters are memorable ones, each unique, interesting, and most important not shallow. There seems to be more in each character you can sense. I really hope whoever finishes the series with the same quality that I saw. The dubed version seems to be more accurate in the translation than the subtitled one, though; plus the voices fit each character. But don't let me sand bag it for you, judge for yourself.
