Heroic Legend of Arislan, The
The animation of Heroic Legend of Arislan (Arslan Senki) is great throughout all the videos. The music is good and it has an easy to follow story line, not to mention a good plot. Aside from some violence, there's nothing for parents to worry about their kids watching. ALSO, the seiyuu who did Arislan is Yamaguchi Kappei-san!!!!!!!!! Oh, there is no sweeter voice in this world!! The series doesn't just end like that, does it? Do they still have more videos out in Japan? If they do, they had better bring them over. Also, I didn't know that Sasaki Nozomu-san could do such a boyinsh voice. (Elam).

Heroic Legend of Arislan, The
This is my favorite anime of all time! It's one of my favorite movies of all time! I'm in love with it! The art is excellent! The character interaction is great, (especially in the first movie)! I'm impaitiently waiting for 5+6 to come out in English. I've never seen the subtitled version, though I tend to like them better. However, the dubbing by U.S. Manga corps was extremely well done!

I haven't seen a good fantasy in a long time and . . . this is just the best anime I've ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it: the characters, the art, the political intrigue, every thing!!! It's got a good message too! Well, I could go on raving forever and ever . . .

I actually watched Record of Lodoss War first. Then, through some looking around, I discovered that Heroic Legend of Arislan [aka Arslan (with a line over the second "a")] was done by the same people. I went to the store and in a fit of money spending bought all three volumes (sub'd of course). It's far and away one of the best anime I have ever seen, and will be for quite some time. I couldn't stop watching it! I just sat there and admired the art and characters.

If the designers read this, I beg you to please finish the story! It's truly a gorgeous piece of work, and deserves the finishing touch. I know there are enough of us that think so to justify it!

Heroic Legend of Arislan, The
I have watched over 100 anime titles but Arislan is by far my favorite. Thankfully, episodes 5 & 6 are coming out in October of 98 so we can see the ending. If you like anime please buy this series, you will thank me.

I love this movie it is the coolest! The best characters are Narsus-chan, Gieve-san, and of course Arfuido. I only give it a 9 because I want to see the 5th part.

I love this anime!!! It's absolutely one of my favorites. The animation is the best (in my opinion) so far and the soundtrack contains some extemely goood music played by very talented artists. The storyline is intriguing and I love the displays of loyalty and the themes of ancient chivalry. They should keep dubbing this series in English--it's torture to the fans for it to be left unfinished.

Most anime I've seen and bought has been from a slight too a terrible dissapointment, either in art or in story. The only thing disappointing about The Heroic Legend of Arislan is the fact that it's unfinished. The historical flavor adds spice to the story. The characters have both charm and depth, whether hero or villian. The art work is magical and the story has tremendous color.

Like "The Hakkenden", this is an anime you can show to people who dislike traditonal anime. Not a giggling school girl or giant robot in sight. Instead, you will find the most beautiful art on film, delightful dialogue, and a story that will leave you wanting more. Hopefully the creators will give it to us.

This is by far the best anime I have ever seen! Although it doesn't follow traditional rules, it is done very nicely, has been dubbed very well, and you can relate to the charachters. I rented the first one and couldn't wait till the next day to rent the other tapes. I hope this series is finished, it would be a shame to waste such a great story...

This was one of my favorite anime cartoons, because it is believable and the animation was pretty good, the story was orignale and amusing, the only bad thing about it was that it was a bit corny.
