The plot iz an amazing blend of humour (remember TaSuKi drunk), action (ah,yes..TaMaHoMe izz COOL) and romance (the absolutely TeRRiFic kisses )....

Disappointing... good thing the 2nd OAV was the continuation of the TV/manga
series, not the 1st, but I'm here to talk about the 1st. Animation suffered
a little downfall in my opinion. Storyline is less than average. What more can
I say.

FUSHIGI YUUGI DEFINETLY ROCKS!!!!! i love fushigi yuugi. the story line is so different from other anime's. if u compare fy to sailor moon it's the BOMB! tamahome, hotohori, and chichiri r so fine. even though their anime. ::sigh:: i give fushigi yuugi 10! what do u think?

It was okay, but wasn't exactly a fitting continuation of the tv series. It was almost pointless. The TV series and second OAV series are far, far better than this, and they are both based on the manga. The first OAV series isn't. The omake were pretty funny, though.

I LOVE Fushigi Yuugi. Its mah favorite show. I especially love Tasuki and Tamahome!! I luv ya babe. Wish we can go out on a date. But yur in a book =( If you compare fy to other series you would chose fy out of all of them. I would give Fushigi Yuugi deserves a ten. Don't you think? If you don't then you must really suck.Tasuki try to visit meh in mah world!! You 2 Tamamhome! Sorry Miaka!

I wasn't that impressed with 1st OAV series. The only reason I bought it is because Amiboshi and Suboshi were in it. (because they are best chracters on the show). and also that was the part of the whole OAV 1st seris otherwise it didn't make any since. The omake's on the 1st OAV series are funny escially the 1st one about the bus trip LOL!!!!!
I haven't seen the 2nd OAV series though I have heard better reviews from it. The only reason I haven't bought it yet is because Amiboshi or Suboshi aren't in it but I will get it one of these days.
The reason why i know this is because I have the whole manga series and the 14-18 were based on the 2nd OAV series.

I thought it had a great storyline but it is probably the saddest anime (not in quality, I mean in storyline) created. It has very cool characters and you'll like it if not love it. It will probably become your favorite anime I suppose..
