Vision of Escaflowne TV
This is my second favorite series right after Macross. And I love it. The animation is outstanding for TV (brought to you by the same people who did Macross Plus which is outstanding for animation). The story line is great as to be expected from Shoji Kawamori (directory of Macross and Mac+) and the characters are great (designed by the person who did Legend of the Lodoss War) and lets not forget the music (from Yoko Kanno who did Macross, Macross:DYRL, and Macross Plus).

The stroyline is just fantastic, the characters have depth. The series is a great mix of medieval times and mecha. And the villains, they have depth! I'm talking real reasons and motivations. Folken is great. Now there is the best anti-hero I have ever seen. I can't wait for the movie, hopefully the movie will continue the storyline instead of retell it (I have all 26 episodes already).

Great animation, even better story! A mech epic that actually goes into human relations and things, and the protagonist runs track! And she's psychic! The lack of "fan service" is nice too. I luv Vision of Escaflowne.

The Vision of Escaflowne is my favorite anime! I love the characters (especially Dilandau :) ) and the plot and the music...pretty much everything. Well, everything except their noses. It's romantic and sad and funny and has action. What's not to love?

The story line is very, very cool!! Although the nose of the characters is a little pointed. Very nice and new mechas and what attracted me to this series is the soundtrack!!!! One of the BEST soundtrack I have ever heard!!!! Watch it! Watch it!

The animation is beautiful and the characters are all very interesting. Overall the story is uplifting, but it parts are funny, sad and intense.

It has been well over a year since I first saw it and Escaflowne is still my favorite anime series of all time. I've put most of my fandom into this series with Planet Gaea, and I hope that Escaflowne draws the attention of many other dedicated fans now that Bandai has finally released it commercially. It is pure magic.

Saying that Escaflowne is the most revolutionary anime series ever is actually the greatest understatement of the century. Never have I've seen such a perfect balance in every mech, character, music, anime, and plot design(There may be doubts about the noses although it will vanish completely afterwards). After I watched this, I started thinking, "Why the heck did I waste life on Neon Genesis?"

The only good thing about this show to me was the background music. Other then that, everything seemed very thin, and the characters very undeveloped. Overall, this is one of the worst tv series in a long time. I know I'm very disagreed with, but that's how I feel.

One of THE best anime series I've seen. Good character development, superb animation/computer animation, phenomenal music (the OSTs are extremely well done), and it's very emotional with a lot of fighting. I could watch this series forever (until the next series come out or so).

This show never quits... every episode is packed with characterization, magic, discoveries about the past and the future... Fun characters, and by the end of the show you really care about what happens to them. Main character is a bit wimpy though, and why do they all have such big noses?? The music is great though.

THIS IS THE BEST ANIME SERIES I'VE EVER SEEN! I just got the tapes from AnimeVillage, and I totally got hooked on it. The character development is superb, the characters themselves, the plot, mechas, and animation are simply phenomenal! Allen is my favorite character (http://members.tripod.com/schezarade), because i think he has the most character development in the series! This series features a lot of romance, drama and action. Definitely my favorite!
