Back to the Future was more fun to watch and is
original. Who would have ever thought of that at that time.
Everyone loves Michael J. Fox.
He also star in Secret of my Success.

Tenchi Muyou: The Movie
I never thought of the Tenchi series as being epic, but this movie fulfills that image and then some. The characters retain their charm from the original TV series and the movie even has animation that can only be described as stunning. I was greatly surprised at the quality of this movie and i must say that I enjoyed it greatly. Its a fantastic piece of work which totally exceeded my expectations of a Tenchi feature film. Surprisingly awesome.

This movie's technilogical efforts pay off quite well. Some nice animation and visuals. Good artwork and soundtrack, although this movie's plot fails to keep the audience captivated. It's painfully predictable story only adds more hardache to this films' flat and overdone dialouge/ mediocure sometimes uneffective humor. This movie is visually pleasing, has some good characters, and is highly entertaining for fans of the Tenchi series and OAVs. This makes a good rental, and has a nice mix of action/humor, and several anime genres. Entertaining.

Back to the Future a la anime. I liked watching it once but I wouldn't buy the video just for the sake of watching it again. And what's up with the dang lightsabers?
Also, the opening sequence of Kain's escape was far too long. All that sci-fi mumbo jumbo ... not good. Personal interaction and character involvement ... good. Tenchi's still a bland, lifeless dork, though. Why Ryoko and Aeka insist on fighting over him, I have no idea.

P.S. Atchika, Kiyone and Sasami are HOT!

Tenchi Muyou: The Movie
This is by far the best movie (anime or live action) I've ever seen. I saw it on the Sci-fi channel a few months ago and loved it. Then I saw the Japanese version, which of course was MUCH better! I was especially impressed by the animation quality, the characters (Ryoko rules!!!) gosh, just everything. By far the high point of the Tenchi Muyo series!

The people at Pioneer did an exceptional job with this movie. Subbed or dubbed, this movie rocks the house. Especially in THX. Great storyline to boot. Great followup to the OAV and Tv series.
