It's a very cool Player with a lotsa features and outputs !
Access-times are o.k. as well, changeing from one layer to the other takes about one sec.
Build quality is well done, and the dual-laser is nice if you are use self-burned CD's.

Don't miss this thing !

I had a Denon 3000 before this player ,the Sony is much better.
The Menu controls are alot more userfriendly than the Denon.

As well as being an excellent DVD player this unit is an exceptional music CD player. All outputs, svideo, rgb, coax digital and optical digital, 2 scart plugs.

So far this is an very good DVD player. This player has two separate mechanismes for playing Audio CD en one for Video Cd. The sound of CD audio is very excellent. The sharpness can be altered (sharp=clear and direct, soft=warm and more low). I prefer sharp because the sound, in comparison with other CD-players, is so excellent that it sounds like the musicians are present in my living room.
The possibilities for playing CD video (DVD en CD-video) are tremendous! The pictures and movies are more sharp than watching television!

I consider that the picture doesn t play smooth on this DVD just like it doesn t on any other I have seen.
I think that Thompson DVDs are some better.
