Get the new RX-V1, much better amp.

Yamaha DSP A-1
Have had now for over a year. Awesome unit. So far, I have not found this unit lacking in any way. It may not have as much power per channel as some of the newer units (Denon, Marantz), but it still cranks! I will have to check their new 6.1 system now based on how well this unit has worked.

Yamaha DSP A-1
bought this to replace an older nad receiver, hooked it up, and received a deep hum from my front channels. returned it for a new one. this one's display did not work (was blank) scapped it and went back, guessing third time is a charm, with this one, cd input did not function in stereo. returned it and bought an onkyo ds939 which i fell in love with. will never buy from yamaha again.
