Ghost in the Shell
Good but the dubbing was out of sync and the script was crap. I dont know if it lost anything in translation but the dialogue was constantly crammed into the short spaces. It was unrealsitic. If this is inevitable because of the more condensed nature of Japanese then all Manga should have sub'titles

It was pretty good. Animation was certainly excellent, but I wished it was more like the manga. Damn it! No Fukikomas! I suggest that everyone read the manga and find out why Masamune is the best around. Still, I have it to thank for discovering KMFDM.

This is simply the best anime I ever saw. It's the best of Masamune Shirow. I can't wait till next year when the continuation of Ghost in the Shell. By the way this movie is really complex and deep. Everytime I see this movie I learn something new from it. I already seen it for 10 times!!!!!!! and it still rules. The only thing that can ever catch with this is..... No, not Akira!!!! But Wing of Honnieamise!! Wing of Honnieamise has the same deep storyline!!! and it rules too!

Gorgeous animation, superbly realised action sequences, a fantastic soundtrack...This is superior anime. My only gripe is that it is far too short!

Excellent! I've never seen anything like this before! But the only problem is it could never be cut for t.v., so you have to rent or buy,but I think you shouldn't really mind spending a buck and a half for three days on this one. By Sim.

one...
Yeah, yeah, I read the manga. Awesome. The movie's good, too, but the OVA
format might be better for a story of this calibre.

Well, i'm talking about Evangelion, but this is my close second. Beautiful, very touching, and for once, the machines don't get their ass kicked!!!
BTW the dubbing sucked!!! whoever did the voice of the major I HOPE YOU DIE!! or at least suffer for a long while...

How pathetic. I had more fun watching Terminator 2.
Remember liquid Terminator is cool to watch.

He is made of mercury! HAHA which of course
at normal temperature is a liquid but is a solid at
cooler temperature.

But this one is quite boring.
I cant stand Terminator Clone Anime!
ARGH!!!
Not to mention Robot Carnival.

You know, if you trace all the reviews Ive put into this site. some guys would say "Very cool, makes sense", but to others that even hear the type of animes I have reviewed, they would be exactly like my freind who says, or thinks, "Youre not a true anime watcer. You have no class in what you see" Ok, I dont care about if the animation is good, I dont care who directed it and I dont care who starred in it...What I do care about is the fact that this type of a movie, short and too deep, is a crappy movie. Ill respect the animationa dns ounds or whatever, but Im not going to make it one of the best movies just for the fact that its somehow "groundbreaking" Too much was trying to be explained in some notions whereas other notions werent explored enough. If you want to further a collection to make your image look decent to those type of psychos who live and breathe this stuff, get it. If not, go to your local psychos house, I know everyone has one, nd get a copy taped from him.

It was cool. Kinda confusing, though I didn't see the whole thing. ON the one part where they're shooting the tree in the wall, they should have made it shoot the part that showed humanity, 'cause it's sure shot to he**
