Great service Scott.
I was making my order from my home in Canada but I will be vacationing in Palm Springs. I was worried about not receiving my package on my holidays.
Scott had my amp double boxed and shipped it out. It arrived the next day. Opps......the day after, no one was home on the 1st delivery attempt.

I ordered a reciever and CD player on Christmas day. I turned around in 3 days and it was at my door in Florida. Way to go guys. I highly recommend SoundPros and will purchase all my electronics from them from this point forward..

Very Efficient. Bargained somewhat on the price. Very knowledgeable staff. Shipped receiver that day. Got it in 3 days perfect condition. I called for follow up help and they are very helpful. I will definitely purchase here again!

Contacted Scott at Sound Pros about a Denon receiver. They beat any store price around and almost the lowest price on the net. Since I live in San Diego decided to go by and pick it up. They even took time to B.S. with me about my set up at home and several brands of speakers not well known to the general public, would use them any time and will always look to them first when buying. Highley recommended.

I had searched the internet for an audio system that the price and quality of a product was what I wanted. I called sound pros and started talking to Scott and before I knew it it seemed like we had known each other for years. I have done business with them twice before with NO problems what so ever. I will buy from them again. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for equipment at a fair price and wanting sound equipment advice(he won't sell you the $1000.00 cable if a $50.00 will do it....get my drift!) Deal with them you won't be disappointed.

I have done business with these guys twice and have not been disapointed at all. They will take the time to talk with you at length about audio in general not tring to talk you into a more expencive purchase just, finding out what your plans are to make sure you are NOT unhappy with what you want to buy (smart...very smart). I will be back for advice and purchases in the future. Thet are as the name states PROS!! BIG Thumbs Up!!!!

Bought a Harman Kardon DVD 50 player from them. Item arrived quick, but the unit skipped during play of CD and DVD's. I called them and explaind what was going on and they shipped me another overnight and gave me instructions on were to send the defective unit. Great people,was always nice when I called, very quick response to questions and problems.

First of all, thanks to all of you for your posts and thanks to Audio Survey for
providing this forum by which all of us are able to exchange valuable
information with our fellow audio enthusiasts.

I have been purchasing audio equipment through mail order and now, the
Internet, for over 25 YEARS and, I might add, with virtually no problems.
Having decided to replace my aging 10+ year old Dolby Pro Logic system
with a new 5.1 Dolby Digital system, I wanted to do some research on both
the equipment that I was considering and, just as important, the potential
dealer(s)that I would eventually purchase from.
Some of the sites I visited offered great prices, however,when I read some of
the posts, I became concerned about their service, before and after the sale.

I initially sought out some local "authorized" dealers. I visited their businesses
for some advice and audition of equipment. Unforetunately, I ran into sales
people with varying degrees of knowledge about the products that I was
interested in. Several places either didn't have or couldn't get the equipment
set up properly and side-by-side comparisons were, therefore, very difficult.
When it came to price, and even though I was purchasing several pieces of
equipment, about the best deal I could strike was between 5-15% off
MSRP. I then decided to divert my attention to the Internet and see what I
could do there.

I narrowed my search to just three (3) dealers. I decided to first e-mail them
and see what kind of response I would get. SOUND PROFESSIONALS
gave me the QUICKEST response. After two attempts to contact one dealer
I finally called and they couldn't explain why they didn't get my e-mail. They
appologized, had very competitive pricing, but I couldn't establish if they
actually had the items in stock or when I could expect shipment.
The third dealer in the Northwest had a most favorable AV Survey rating.
However my telephone conversation with the salesperson left me rather
"turned off". This individual became somewhat arrogant when he learned that
I was interested in purchasing some equipment that was not Internet
authorized by the manufacture. At this point he proceeded to give me a
lecture about "non-authorized" dealers and the pitfalls of purchasing from such
people. He qualified himself as "an audiophile" and got even more
condescending as the dialog progressed. I told him that I appreciated his
concerns however I felt the current war between some
manufactures,distributors and dealers was just an attempt at "price control".
This seemed to really piss him off.
When we finally got around to price, he became very competitive on
equipment (that he was authorized to sell)however, he attempted to sell me an
identical subwoofer from Sound Dynamics (RTS-800) as the Energy sub
(Encore 8)that I was interested in. He said that Sound Dynamics was a
division of Audio Products International, (API Inc.) the parent company of
Mirage, Energy and Sound Dynamics. I questioned him again about this
model being the same as the Encore 8 and the only thing he said was different
was the finish, the Encore 8 being high-gloss black (like the Take 5's) and the
RTS 800 had a black ash finish.
I decided to check this out and good thing that I did. While the relationship
between these companies is all correct, the sub he was trying to sell me was
not at all related to the Encore 8, but rather the Energy e:xl-S8 model, two
completely different subs as was explained to me by Energy. So much for
"Authorized Audiophiles"!

Finally, I called Sound Professionals in sunny San Diego, California. I initially
spoke with Scott, who was very informative about the equipment that I
wanted, offered me some options/suggestions, but did not attempt to
persuade me. He gave me some extremely competive pricing, in fact, the best
I had either received or found anywhere. The two Onkyo TX DS595 models
that I ordered (replaces the DS575x)had just arrived in their warehouse a
few days earlier and were shipped to me almost immediately. The two Energy
Encore 8 subs had to be ordered but, I received them within the time frame
(3-4weeks) that was promised. A UPS shipping/tracking notification was
e-mailed to me immediately when the items were shipped. All of the
equipment arrived very carefully packaged and in pristine condition.

I have spoken to both Scott and Gary at SOUND PROFESSIONALS
several times over the past 3-4 weeks about stereo gear in general. They
were always very courteous and offered suggestions for gear they felt would
compliment my setup. They do not pressure you at all. From the moment you
talk to them you feel at ease and can tell that they are "professionals" with
good business ethics and integrity. And, to place your mind at ease, SOUND
PROFESSIONALS has been in business since 1973 and offer you, at NO
ADDITIONAL COST, an in-house warranty the same as the manufacture
on all equipment they sell.

It doesn't get much better than this folks! So, before you order somewhere
else, call these guys and give them a chance to become your new source for
stereo equipment, like they now have become mine.
