I really enjoyed Ogre slayer, the poor guy jsut wants to be human and has the nasty task of having to hack up all the ogres.

Ogre Slayer
Some reviewers said that Ogre Slayer is compared to Vampire Princess Miyu. This to me is a total insult. It is nothing like that. VPM is a really good anime for the more cerebral crowd. Ogre Slayer is more like "I must hack ogres so I can become human" approach. Plot lags. Characters I could care less about. Decapitation scenes are cool, but I don't remember Larvae ever slice some ogre's heads off. Overall, I was really disappointed.

Ogre Slayer
I LOVE THIS SHOW!! Cool looking monsters, and excellent animation. The story is more tragic then happy. I've only saw two f the first tapes, but I hope I come up to more tapes to rent or buy.
