Kiki's Delivery service was very good. I really found myself enjoying every minute of this movie. The animation was muy bueno(spanish for very good), it is some of best I've yet to see. The plot is fantastic, not only does it strech to the limits of our imagination, but Kiki goes though a problem we can all relate to in life, adding fantasy and reality at the same time. I didn't find an awful lot of humor in this, but there are some cute and funny scenes. I really enjoyed the music in this, I thought it was very up beat and soothing. Overall I thought this was an anime that really could relate to everyone in a way and is a fun thing to watch with the whole family. You can also see this on Disney on a random basis.

It is amazing to think that I became obsessed with anime after randomly flipping through channels and finding Kiki's Delivery Service on the Disney channel. It has been anime bliss since. While many people have already voted on this anime, I feel I must give my two cents to this anime that got me started on Otaku nirvana.

Animation - How could you not give this a 10? Anyone who does must not have worn their contacts, or are blind, or maybe even unconsious. The background and the non repetitive background always keeps your eyes moving and keeps a movie about a girl flying on a broomstick seem very realistic.

Plot - Very Cool. It is interesting that this movie has no 'villian". There is no one out to conquer Tokyo, or destroy the earth for some unknown reason. This movie is all about character development and what it takes to grow up and find your self.

Humor - Thanks Jiji. The dubbed version has Phil Hartman doing Jiji and it is actually the last movie Phil Hartman participated in before he died. I actually liked the dub of Jiji more than the sub-titled version. The humor is knocked down a little because Tombo is an idiot.

Sound Track - Brilliant music by Joe Hishachi. I bought the soundtrack in one of my ventures to Taiwan, and I listened to it all the way back on my 15 hour flight back to San Francisco...the music is so relaxing and very much in tune with what the movie offered.

Overall a masterpiece, not to be missed by any anime fan. Perfect for all ages and sizes.

Great story, simple but subtle, never loud but full of soul.
It's all about athmosphere and colours. Also it is a very interesting alternate universe that Mr. Miyasaki let us discover.
It's also very poetic.

The film is about what's inside the heart of a child. If you don't know anything about that, or don't care, you probably won't like the movie.

This might sound crazy, but after seeing this video, it's character(some of them atleast) seemed to drawn from Gainax's Nadia: Secret of the Blue Water. And I don't think it is a consident. All the same both are great films deserving a 10.

Really good movie. Sigh. I wish that all movies could be done in the manner that Miyazaki puts into it. Wish to see more Miyazaki realeases. Better than Tottoro because this concerns human aspects.

Kiki's delivery service is what a family movie should be, thrilling for every one. It has great animation(particularly the flying scenes), and while the story is pretty basic the characters are so likable and well done that you get into the story more than you would otherwise.
