This one wasn't very good. It was pretty boring at times (especially with Shigyou...I totally didn't get that at first and was miserably bored). There was too much drama. A good anime does have its dramatic areas and action-filled areas, but this was too much. There wasn't enough humor and it focused too much on the same characters. My favorite part was the "kiss" given by Tasuki. That was really cute. I also liked how they showed how he gradually grows to like her even more. I also loved the one with Chichiri because it was so sad. I cried there, and I'm not much of a softie. But Taka pissed me off SO much. He's just a wimpy bag of crap that did nothing except whine and declare his love to Miaka...there is a line and you are five miles beyond it, buddy. We like romance, sure we do, but packing it on like that can get really boring. Tamahome was MUCH better (although I didn't like him much either...just at times) And all Miaka's crap about being one was just too....far. She was only seventeen for Christ's sake. 0;)~

I like this series partly because of the music but for the most part I don't get to see that ugly bitch Yui that much.

i happy they get to be together but with some conditions like the whole memory stone thing but at lease they get to be with each other

Really bad compared to the series. It totally lacks the charm of the show and even of the OAV series before it and instead ends up as a drama, and a very boring one at that.
