Give her a computer and she can accomplish almost anything. Arashi is, without question, the most proficient hax0r in all of ROTFW. She can hack anything from mainframes to microwaves to pocket calculators with nothing more than a Palm Pilot, and could probably make a satellite crash with a digital wristwatch if she really tried.
Arashi appears to have no past whatsoever. She simply showed up on the doorstep one day and declared she was there for a single purpose: to be Ivo's girlfriend. How she got there and how she knew of her purpose so surely is a mystery. Actually, not really - obviously, Jen put her there and told her - but the previous statement was an attempt at sounding profound.
The eyepatch over her eye is just for looks; despite Ivo ripping the eye out in ROTFW 53 due to a fit of blind panic and a terrible nightmare, it's perfectly fine thanks to Jen.
She might be considered armed and extremely dangerous when it comes to digital devices, but her hostility stops there. If distracted in some way from preying on script kiddies and lamer AOLers, one would find she's quite a gentle and caring woman for the most part. When provoked, she does have a sharp wit and tongue, but her physical abilities are average at best, leaving her dependant on Ivo in the case of an attack on her person.
