WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR EYES? PROJECTED ON A CURVED KLOSS NOVABEAM SCREEN THE PICTURE IS FANTASTIC. IT OUTCLASSES THEM ALL. VIEWING THE MOVIE WAG THE DOG IS LIKE VIEWING HIGH DEFENITION--AND THIS WAS JUST ON A HUGHES SAT DISH.

Sharp XW99U

Uggh! I demo'ed this unit in-home for a week. LCD Panels are 4:3 format, so 30% shut down for any widescreen movies, fans are noisy, pixelation noticeable all the way back at 14'.

Brought it back, bought a Sony VPL-W400Q, and kept the $4,000 savings. What the heck was Sharp thinking when they set the price double that of the superior W400Q?

Anyone? Hello?
