Amazing picture, shows whites better than nearly any projection TV. I really like the PIP wireless headphone outlet, now my wife and I can watch both our shows on the same TV, in Stereo no less! It rocks.

Excellent television. Sharp, clear picture, and it fit nicely in the bay window I never looked out of! Crescent fresh. Super cres at best. I work at Circuit City, and it's one of my top choices! Ya know, aside from the HDTV's and all. Heh heh.....Ninja!

Had a big-screen on the shopping list for several before taking the plunge. Have owned this unit since 10/98. Just made it through the college bowl season and it was all that I had hoped for. I think that the video portion of this set is same as SBX models but with lesser audio quality components. This was a non-factor for me since I'm running it through a stereo. Magic Focus feature is very good. Purchased screen protector directly from Hitachi saved much $$$ as opposed to getting it through Circuit City, etc. Compare to other 60" units and you'll probably agree with the name "ULTRAVISION". S-video from Hi-8 video camera is super...component video from DVD is awesome

Video Quality is amazing... I was very impressed by the picture quality from cable with the Artificial Intelligence feature enabled... excellent GUI... About the best sound I've heard from built in speakers as well.
