Description:I will add the specs later. I have an advertisement flier for this model that I got on my trip to Hong Kong in the end of August, 1999. When I went to the store, the owner told me that this model would be available in a few days. Unfortunately, I got sick and was unable to buy it. The price in HK for this Japan model was about $3000 HKD, which = ~$386 USD. This was a very good price, considering the low prices he had on other models. When I find the flier (I just got back and haven't finished unpacking) I will post the specs on this unit.

This player has sharp and clear pictures, I find that it enhances VCD as compared to Philips SD100 SuperVCD player. Note that this model does not play CDRW and CDR but it plays SuperVCD very well although Toshiba did not claim support for SuperVCD. Mine is a multicode, tested on Code 1 (U571 & Rules of Engagement), ALL region, Region 3. You cannot adjust individual speaker volume. The RCA connectors are gold plated.

Toshiba SD-K330
Beautiful image quality and outstanding sound reproduction. Bought in Australia for AU$715 this unit is really worth buying. Forget the cheap options, you get the lot with this baby, component video, composite video, S-Video, 5.1 audio out, optical out, digital out, stereo out... it's got outputs to match any system you may have now or in the future.

I bought the DVD SD K330 in last month It's very good! I like it very much
When i play the CD The Sound Field is very wide and the position of the instructments are expressed good.
When i play the DVD the quarlity of the picture is very good to
But i 've some idea for this machine ----Do not keep the Mic Input connector again.because this feature would affect the Sound and the picture.

Toshiba SD-K330
I bought it in Hong Kong at HK$3300. It is a bit taller than Sony's DVP-S530D. It has 2 1/4" mike connections and 1 headphone jack in the front.
I wish Toshiba put dedicated hardware echo and key control knobs plus numeric keys on the front since this unit is also a Karaoke DVD player. I tried
region-1 and region-2 DVDs on it and it worked fine. All the connectors are gold plated but I wish this unit has at least one more set of AV outputs. Since this model is an international model, it has zero problems auto-dectecting different voltage when used in U.S. Picture and sound quality is on par with Sony DVP-530D. Its digital zoom works really well up to 4 X with 2X zoom mode is quite usable. The remote is the largest I have ever seen. This unit defaults to have beeping sounds confirming presses of remote control buttons.

Toshiba SD-K330
I bought this product here at Singapore (Sim Lim Square)last March 5, 2000 for around US$400. I give this product a rating of 10. it has all the features i need for the price range i can afford. features like HDCD decoding, built-in ac-3 decoder (5.1 channel output), dts out (co-ax and optical), 3d spatializer, nd-2-2(when using headphone), zoom, black level adjustment, 2 disk tray for added convenience, big, well laid out remote with luminous buttons. I played the matrix (region 1) and this dvd player played it superbly with no problems whatsoever. This player is code-free. The DAC's (for audio CD) performance is not bad at all, what with its HDCD decoder built-in. I love this champagne colored DVD. I have an existing Kenwood amplifier and no problemo with this DVD player. They fit to a tee. Truly an awesome product, truly a 10!
