Panasonic DVD-X410U
Player purchased Christmas 98. While I have read of the problems with the Panasonic line, mine performed flawlessly for 8 months. Then the dreaded pixellation problems started to occur. Started on a couple DVDs at first and then today I finally got the NO DISC error other Panasonic victims have been complaining about. I rebooted the machine using PAUSE, REWIND, and POWER buttons simultaneously, but the problem has not gone away. I thought I got one of the good Panasonics but apparently I did not. Now no disc will play and I have not been able to contact Panasonic yet. Others on newsgroups state they can fix it if you ship the machine to them, but will charge as much as $200 if the product is out of warranty, like I fear mine is. Until now it worked fine, this problem seems to take months to develop. Beware.

Panasonic DVD-X410U
I just bought this X410U unit today. After putting in the VCD, the VCD play for a few seconds. Afterward, I got this "No Disc" message even though I have the DCD in the player. What goes? Anybody know what to do? It is a new unit. Also I think Panasonic web site is a joke. It does not have much support document there.
