The Sony XBR Wega is absolutely incredible. Adjustments are easily made with the remote control joystick to fine tune DVDs or broadcast TV. Many people complain that the scan lines are bothersome, but the truth is that this set is so perfect that it shows every flaw in your cable system and makes your DVDs look incredible. This can be adjusted with the preset color and sharpness settings in the on-screen menus. The vertical compression on anamorphic DVDs through the component video connection made me wonder why I ever bothered with anything else. I highly recommend this set to anyone who values high-quality anamorphic dvds, but you may think twice if you only watch cable or broadcast tv.
