I'm very happy with this tv. I haven't had it calibrated yet but my DVD looks great on it anyway. Excellent remote, good build and reliable. I'm getting component input on my next one though.

Toshiba TP50G50
I've had the TV about 18 months and am pretty happy with it. DVD looks real good on it but my cable signal sucks. Ordering a satellite system this week though. Nice remote and good controls. Definitely recommned buying the Service Manual for $25 for this TV. It allows access to among other things, a much better control over convergence. This adjustment is very significant. DVD Essentials really looks great on it. Nice big picture but needs a good 8 to 12 feet viewing distance otherwise you'll wish it had a line doubler. I paid $1800 for it in December of 1996. On occasion I've wished I bought a good 32"-36" model but that's not because I don't like this TV. I just prefer a tube over RPTVs from time to time. If I was buying an RPTV now I'd probably be happy with the same features this TV has but would want component input.
