does this support 3D for vhs also..?

Sony KV-32XBR100
Probably the best NTSC consumer monitor ever made. I've had mine for three years now and it still astounds me. ISF calibration put the icing on the cake. The 3D comb filter works miracles with cable, VHS and laserdiscs compared with previous XBR models (especially good with Pioneer's Elite CLD-97 LD player). Using my Sony DVP-S3000 DVD player, the set also offers outstanding DVD performance; and if you go into the service menu, reduce VSIZ to '0', keep HSIZ at '53' or '54' and change VSCO from '7' or '8' to '11', the set displays 16x9 enhanced DVDs in their full glory.

Bravo, Sony!

Sony KV-32XBR100
I Love my XBR100!!! It has the best picture quality i've seen in a 32" screen.
I have had my share of problems though. But a couple of capacitors and one transducer (and $199) later I'm back to a beautiful tv with exceptional quality.

Sony KV-32XBR100
I've had this model since 1996 (when it came out). I also have a very substantial collection of Laserdiscs (900) and DVDs (200). When I had this set ISF certified (calibrated to the NTSC Standard) I was blown away !!! Now 4 years later I still haven't seen a direct view set that looks better that this one !!! When it came out there wasn't component video inputs on any set. But I don't think it going to matter with this set because with a very god S-Video cable and proper calibration this set is stil the finest out there. So If you can find one get ASAP. Don't let this slip past you now that it's discontinued.
A Landmark set in the history of television !!!!

Sony KV-32XBR100
I've owned the KV-32XBR100 for two years now. It is the best set I have ever owned...so far. I used the Video Essentials DVD on it, but I had it set good
just by eye. I plan on getting a HDTV very soon, so my brother is waiting to
buy this TV from me. I would give this set a 10 if it had component inputs, a
better freeze function, and individual settings for all the inputs. Over all
this is a great set. Amen.

Sony KV-32XBR100
I bought mine in 1997. Before I found out about this model,
I was very dissappointed at the Sony TV sets in the US as
compared to the ones in Europe. Sony had come up with the
advanced "Super Trinitron" tube which was much flatter and
sharper as far back as 1991 in Europe. Yet, even the XBR
tubes of 1997 (except for the XBR100) were inferior to
the Super Trinitorn tube. Then I found about the XBR100 which
indeed had a genuine Super Trinitron tube. The units I saw
on display were every bit as sharp as the European ones, maybe
even sharper. This was truly a set in its own class, probably
even overengineered for the consumer market. I don't regret
paying $2500. It's extremely sharp and so flat that I don't
envy the true-flat Wega tubes. The XBR100 has a specified
horizontal resolution of 800 lines. One source I saw rated
the new XBR200 (Wega) at 600 lines, but you'd better confirm
this before taking my word for it.

Sony KV-32XBR100
I purchased my XBR100 4 months ago for $1,800. I'm extremely happy with this set and I may purchase a new XBR200 for main HT and move 32XBR100 to second HT. The picture quality is outstanding even with broadcast signals. Once calibrated with DVD the picture quality is even better. Anyone shopping for an XBR, should look at the XBR200s coming out. But if you want to save money I would suggest looking for a 32XBR100. You should be able to get great discounts since model has been discontinued.

Sony KV-32XBR100
I used to have one of these sets back in '97. I loved it to death, but after only a few months of use, it developed this discoloration in the upper left corner of the screen that would just not go away. Even when serviced under warranty, it still persisted. I eventually had the CRT replaced, but since the on-site technician couldn't precisely tune the convergence, the new tube didn't live up the high standard of the XBR2. The dealer allowed me to refund the unit for the full amount. Glad I bought the extended warranty! Having said all that, I would still buy one of these today. Anyone know if they're still around anywhere? Yes, I've seen the XBR200's, but there just not as good in my opinion.
