I talked to Frank. I bought an 8” Meade LX200 GPS and some accessories. Frank was nice to work with. He didn’t have all the answers, but seemed to know what he was talking about. He was patient and not very pushy for the sale. We worked out a price that we were both happy with. Most items were in stock. He shipped my order the same day. I bought about 9 items; he either had them in stock or shipped them to me in 5 days. He offered to take up any problems with Meade for me, but the scope worked great.

After I had the scope for the week, I thought I might want to move to 2” diagonal and eyepieces. Frank offered a generous credit for unopened 1.25” accessories I wanted to return, and good price on the 2” accessories I wanted to buy. I will continue to give my business to Astrotec.

Frank was very helpful and patient with all my questions about a scope purchase. I eventually purchased a used C8 and he cleaned and collimated at no extra charge. Great store, nice guy.

I RECENTLY MADE A TELESCOPE PURCHASE FROM ASTROTEC . I HAD A DELIVERY PROBLEM
RESULTING FROM THE MANUFACTURER WHICH CAUSED A DELAY. THE SERVICE I RECEIVED
AT ASTROTEC WAS FIRST RATE. FRANK THE OWNER IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND OFFERS
GOOD SERVICE. THE SHOWROOM IS MODERATELY STOCKED.

The scope was in stock and shipped the day I ordered it. The salesman was friendly and seemed to know the products. The prices on the items that I enquired about were basically the same as most dealers whose adds I've seen. The item I bought was a special sale and was prices lower than othe mail order dealers. I heard about them from a friend.
