Subject: I'm a member By: msholden Date: 03/22/2006 02:22:17 pm PST Hi I'm a member of bmas. We're basically a friendly group of people who are mostly interested in observing. Our meetings are the first and third Friday of the month at 8:00. On clear nights, we'll observe with our 16" classical cassegrain with perkin elmer optics, or a 4" Unitron under the dome. Often, some members bring telescopes to set up on the field. These typically include newtonians in the range of 4.5" to 10" and apo refractors from 4" to 7". Dues run $25/year for an individual or $35/year for a family. We don't charge visitors, but we do have a donation jar. Between meetings, open houses and tours for various organizations, we typically welcome 2-3000 visitors per year. Page 1 of 1 | ||||||||
