Great service. Knowledgable. The prices are good. Limited brand selection is the only drawback.

The proprietor, Joe, is service oriented and knowledgable about eyepieces. I purchase all of my University Optic Orthos from him. Delivery has been quick and if there is a problem, he keeps me updated via email. Whenever I get the itch to buy more astronomy equipment, I go to his website first.

It's great to see a retailer that is active in most of the online astronomy groups and the SAA newsgroup. He also consistently updates his site and prices about once a month.

On email info requests, he usually gets back to you the same day.

I visited him in London, Ontario. Very friendly guy and has some of the best pricing around. I picked up the equipment I ordered and realized that the total price was lower than I had originally been quoted, which was a nice suprise.

As stated before, the only thing negative is the limited brands of scopes he carries. Other than that, he's got everything you need.

Joe is a great guy to work with. I ended up getting 2 telescopes, an 8" dob and a 130mmST reflector. He worked with me on upgrading the lenses and getting credit for my duplicate items. He answered all of my questions, and gave me good and sound advice. The items arrived in 1 weeks time from Canada to Atlanta, not bad. Prices were outstanding. I could not even touch getting an equivalent setup from American Dealers. Thanks Joe and Clear SKies.

I just recently purchased a 6 inch Skywatcher Dob from Joe. Joe was great to work with, he answered all my E-mails promptly and worked with me on a finder scope upgrade. When I was assembling the scope, I damaged the focuser. I E-mailed Joe and told him what I had done and that I needed to purchase a replacement. Within a week I received a replacement focuser direct from Skywatcher courtesy of Joe, no charge, that was superior to the original I had broke. The Skywatcher telescope is great, less money than an equivalent Orion or Discovery. I highly recomend O'Neil Optical, Joe really goes the extra mile.

What a pleasant experience. O'Neil is great. Called him and he had everything I was looking for at prices generally lower than most. He shipped from Canada to New Mexico at very reasonable cost and did it quickly. Will definitely do business with him again.

Put simply Joe O'neil is the best!! I am new to astronomy at age 40 and He answered about a month's worth of e-mails ( actually much longer ) before I finally decided on an 8" Skywatcher Dob. He had the best price around, was the easiest to deal with, and answered all e-mail within a day. He was honest with his opinions and wasn't out to just sell me a scope like other vendors. He truly had my best interest in mind when giving advice. What more could you possibly ask?? When I think of Joe I think Quality and Service ! I would buy from him again without hesitation. Actually I think it will be sooner than later...this astronomy stuff is addicting !! Clear Skies !!

Joe is an extremely helpful guy who promptly returned all my emails. I kept firing him questions about mounting a small refractor to my SCT, and he was extremely helpful in trying to help me solve my dilemma. I sent him about ten emails in a fwe days and he replied to them all. Great service!

Have dealt with Joe twice with complete satisfaction. Prompt,
professional, and in the case of DAR products, top notch. A
tad pricey, but service more than makes up for it !

Joe is a fantastic guy to deal with - honest to the end!!! Great prices and fantastic service. The only way he could make this better is if he dedicated himself to the astro biz 100% of the time and opened an actual store. I've bought a scope and accessories from him, and he's 100% on the mark. I would highly recommend him.
