Technics SA-DX930
This amp has great features, the reason I give it an 8 is because it is continuously overloading even at low volume, I thought that if I bought better speakers this would solve the problem, I bought the technics sl50's....no better. The fan doesn't seem to kick in...I'll look into this & let you all know

Technics SA-DX930
Whell I got apparently a faulty Unit and it does what the other guy tell i get radio signal from every input I selected, I will repair it shrotly becouse I bought it in USA and I leve in Venezuela I has to pay for the repair, Anyone have any idea what is broken for it to make that extrange thing.

While it worked it was a beautifull thing whatching DVD's in dolby digital, using the coaxial, I watched The Matrix, Various Mettallica DVD's, and somo Movies in VHS (prologic) Im really newvie about all this audio stuff but taking as a reference the movie theater it sounded great, also I wish to know What speakers wattage work better with this receiver, If I use for example 4 JBL N24 plus the N-Center, and later I buy a big pair for music like the N38 or the ND310, would be better than using different manufacturer speakers, I actually use some old Speakers by BOS Systems (not BOSE) its rated at only 35RMS 75 Music power each one they have a 12 inch Woffer 2 4 inch Mediums and two tweeter 8 omns, I use those for the main speakers, A Yamaha in the center its rated at 150watts 6 Omn, a JBL PSWD12 for subwofer, and two JBL Control 25 for sorround.

I just bought a Technics SADX940, and will repair the 930 for use with my computer.

Technics SA-DX930
Excellent Receiver, Only £300, thats about $320. The volume on this baby is incredible! :), I mean just turn it up to 10 o clock and the walls are shaking! I got monitor audio bronze 2's and the ASW-100. Sounds like heaven. I like Morcheeba, Led Zeppelin, The Fun Lovin Criminals and bass is an important factor. Hope to get the DVD-A160 (panasonic) in a while so I can do movies also.

Technics SA-DX930
This has been a great receiver for me! I noticed a big diffrence when I switched from a Sony. It has a much better sound. My parents bought a home theater a couple of weeks ago and I recomended they use the SA-DX930. They love it as well! Thankfully I have not run into any overheating problems. I must have gotten a good one on the first try. I hope mine and my parents continue to be problem free and produce incredible sound!
