This store is great! If you can buy several disk at a time, that can save
a lot! Their service is good and fast. Highly recommend.

Yes they're cheap. But otherwise are far inferior to either DVD Express or DVD Empire (the 2 other places i've dealt with)...they take several DAYS to process the order, and they apparently don't stock titles themselves...so they seem VERY flakey in terms of overall processing time..

So far, I've ordered 3 titles..even though I told them to send a complete order, they sent the first one about 5 days after the order was placed (not too bad)...however, apparently they're sending EACH title individually and at 3.95 a pop for each shipping they ain't so cheap anymore....

I think if you're ordering lots of readily available titles, this place would be good. But from my standpoint (i.e., always waiting on new releases) I probably won't order anything from them again.

Oh...and theire service is not too responsive either....I e-mailed them 3 days ago any still have not received a response..

I have ordered 3 discs and only got one. And this happened again.
Although their price is the cheapest I've ever seen, if your order is
not shipped together, you can't get the benifit of their low prices.

Things I like about REEL: 1) you can rent some hard to find videos where you can't rent anywhere (like hong kong action flicks) for about 8 bucks for 7days (including shipping) 2) lowest prices anywhere on the web for dvd titles.

Things I do not like about REEL: 1)they backorder lots of stuff 2)thus the delivery times can be hokey

If you don't mind waiting a little for your dvd titles, you can get them from REEL at the lowest prices possible.

Reel has easy to use online ordering with a good selection of DVDs and other videos. Many DVDs do not appear to be in stock but the delay to ship is posted. Usually 1-2 days (in stock, presumably), 1-2 weeks, or 2-3 weeks. In the cases when the ship date has been longer than 1-2 days I have received email informing me that the title has been backordered. However, Reel has not exceeded the predicted shipping on any of the 15 or so titles I have ordered. Also, Reel sends out email when the title does ship. Despite selecting standard shipping Reel has always sent my orders via US Postal Priority Mail. I have often received shipments in just 2 days for the modest cost of $3.00 per order + $0.95 per video. I have never been charged any extra for split shipments. Considering the low shipping charges and a 30% discount for all DVDs, Reel has been the cheapest place to shop so far.

I also like VIDEOSERVE.COM and VIDEOCAVE.COM. Both of which seem to have a slightly larger selection than REEL.COM and also have the 30% discount. On the downside Videserve charges $3.00+ on split shipments and Videocave has a terrible interface for their online ordering.

So far Reel.com is quite reliable for me. Shipping time is okay since it is just across the bridge from my place. It is also by far the cheapest.

Ok price. fairly quick delivery (1 week).
Downside: Very expensive (~$4.00) shipping and handling fee.

Reel.com has great prices, great service, cheap shipping, AND they'll match the price of any other online retailer. You can't ask for much more.

I have placed a few orders with this company. The first order I placed was double shipped, meaning I was double charged and I wasn't too happy about that! The saving grace is that I took advantage of the 'Free DVD' offer thru April
99 which helps me replace my laserdisc collection a little less painfully! Customer service is great, prices just a little below average though...Living in CA. with tax added on is not much less expensive than buying a movie locally on sale...

I've ordered from Reel something like 20 times now, and I haven't had a serious problem yet. Their prices are good, and when their price-matching policy and coupons are factored in, they're really excellent. They probably don't have the best web site, or the fastest order fulfillment, but their customer service people will go the extra yard to treat you fairly.
