It is the newest addition on my binoculars list. Wife bought it for me as Thanksgiving gift. When I first saw the package, my response was "zen what?" To be frank, as a optics snob, I have never heard of this brand until it showed up at my door step. As soon as I took it out for a quick test drive, I was amazed by its optical quality. The image is very, very bright and yield a very good, contrasty field. I was able to clearly see the street sign at least 100 yards away. I compared with my more expensive Zeiss Diafun. It beats Diafun in pretty much every aspect.

It comes with neckstrap and carrying pouch, both of which are carefully designed with a lot of thoughts put into. I sepcially like the well cushioned neckstrap that makes the carrying much easier. The binocular itself is light weight with only 24oz. Holding the binoculars is very easy. I don't have to worry about handshake or anything.

The anti-relection coating is just excellent. I look straight into the binocular and can hardly see any of my reflection, which means all the light has been transmitted through. That explains the blindingly brightness of the binoculars

I have to say it is one heck of deal out there for a high quality binocular like this. I have already convinced few of my hiking buddies to order them so they won't try to use mine during our trip this winter.

I agree with the previous post. I had this pair of binoculars for many years. It has decent optics, although not at the typical quality of Zeiss optics. Still, it is a great value considering its price.

Absolutely the best, especially when you combine this with B&W Speakers. It does take 1-2 months to break in.

Overall image quality is mediocre at the best. Although the FOV is wide, it comes at a heavy price of image distortion at the edge of the field (70%). The image is quite dim for a 7x binoculars. Also the image lacks of contrast and shows severe color aberration when viewing high contrasty object.

I have this trophy 10x42 for almost 5 years. Optically, it is well done. Nothing outstanding. You do see some severe edge distortion up to 70% of the field of view. Image sharpness is perfect on axis. but deterioating towards 75% of the edge. For its money, I think it is a very good pair of binoculars for beginners.
