Subject: Powermate 2x By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.221.6) Date: 09/05/2003 07:53:12 am PST Being brand new to this hobby, I purchased this after reading many good reviews of the EP. I'm not discussing the optics here, that's been stated very well by others. The purpose of this review is to attest to the extremely well made quality and durability of this EP. Last night 9/4/2003, I dropped it from arms length onto a concrete slab, about 4 feet. After reviving myself, I was startled to realize nothing had broke. It still works fine. The edge of the EP was dented and that's all that happened. It still fits in the diagonal, still accepts 2" and 1.25" eyepieces w/o a problem. All I can say is incredible!! Page 1 of 1 | ||||||||
