Subject: W70 14mm By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.84.88) Date: 09/17/2005 06:23:08 pm PST I like my W70 14mm. I bought one used off Astromart and find it is one of my most used eyepieces. I have heard complaints about them not having pinpoint stars to the field edge, but I have not noticed any problems. I currently use it on a Meade AR-6, 6" F8 refractor. I also have a 5.7mm W70. It is a very good eyepiece for me as well, but does show some chromatic aberration on planets. These W70's are a very good alternative to higher priced eyepieces and are very similar to the Synta Widefields, but a little better made in my opinion. Page 1 of 1 | ||||||||
