Subject: Antares 2" 32mm By: Anonymous (xxx.xxx.209.118) Date: 10/07/2003 05:32:18 am PST Looking for a cheapish wide angle lens to use with an f5 102mm I tried a Kellner first of all. Big mistake! Huge fall-off in focus towards the edges. So then tried the Antares 32mm 2" Wide Angle. Wow! What a difference. Flat focus across 90% of field. Only slight pincushion distortion. Very little flare and no ghosts. And all this for only 85 uk pounds. Cannot recommend it highly enough for use with short focus refractors. Page 1 of 1 |
