In the days when I was using an LX200 - 8" it was the perfect thing for public star parties. A 32mm Plössl was all that was needed. I especially liked not having too many eyepieces out in public. The optics do scatter the light a bit, which with an 8 or 10 inch; was okay, but recently I went to a C6 and it needs all the help it can get. So, I have gone to the Takahashi LEs in its place and will sell it. For the right scope and the right circumstances it is a very good eyepiece. Sorry, but I must amend my statement here. Silly I know to reply to your own message, but I left out some important words that must clarify. It should read, "Coupled with a 32mm Plossl, together they were the only things needed."
