Visually there was very little difference between them. The Pan was very slightly sharper at the extreme edge of field, really there was no difference. I did like that the Panoptic was lighter and smaller than the LVW. Decided that I really don't need 2 EP's that close together. But if you ever want a great eyepiece the 22 LVW is first rate.
